Karaoke/Music Night
Such a nice turn out for Wednesday's Music Night. About 18 people showed and had a great time. Please join us next week. Everyone welcome at the Hall - 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Thanks Lisa for the pictures.
Memorial Day was celebrated with our full time residents
Thanks to Lisa and Paul Kerstjens, Wanda Stone, Kim Davis and others who helped in the setting up of this event and to all those who sacrificed in service to our country and to those who did not return.

Resident Craft Fair
Some of our very talented and crafty residents held a craft show today in Volunteer Hall. Below are a few pictures from that great show today. The items were beautiful, we have some very talented residents and appreciate them showing off their wares. Thanks also for the delicious bake sale held at the same time. Hopefully this will be an annual event and more residents who create will be able to participate. (03/16/2025)

First Street "Off to the Races"
Again a fun time was had by all this year. We had some beautiful horses, (see picture) and a group of very energetic jockeys trying to win, except the one who brought their chair right onto the track. This year there were even some prizes given out to the winning jockeys. Bets were placed on who would eventually win. Of course, the big set of dice that they were using to determine which horse got to move might have had a bit of magic. You can see it flying before landing on a number. So many viewers participated in tossing the dice and calling out numbers. So much laughter. And like real horses, there were accidents on the pavement, but then the horse got an extra move while the "cleaners" cleared the track. You would have had to be there to appreciate all the laughter. Hopefully the pictures below bring back memories and help those unable to attend to share in some of the fun. Thanks to all the participants, the volunteer groups, and those who prepared the nice lunch that was enjoyed by all. Happy 90th Birthday Ivan
Ivan and his family invited residents of the Park to help him celebrate his 90th Birthday . There was music, dancing of course, blowing out of the candles and the cake, snacks, and of course a lot of fun. It certainly looks like everyone enjoyed themselves and Ivan said they would do another celebration in 10 years.
